Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy or CBT is a talking therapy which changes your negative automatic thoughts in order to change that way that you react, behave or feel about situations. You are challenged on your thoughts or behaviour in order to understand the reason behind it which can then be worked on and resolved.
CBT is an effective therapy commonly used to treat depression, body dysmorphia, confidence issues, relationship issues etc - just to name a few out of many issues.
It is also a good basis for therapy with children as they respond well and are actively joining in to the therapy process.
